Spartan It Up!
Spartan It Up! is designed for anyone and everyone interested in Obstacle Course Racing, from Trained Elites to beginners who haven’t gotten their feet wet yet.
Spartan isn’t just a race, it’s a culture. It’s a test of grit and willpower, and it’s a place of respect and camaraderie. To find greatness you must look within, dig deep and maintain focus. On the course it’s no different.
My wife challenged me to do a Spartan Race with her in 2017 and since then I’ve been hooked! It was just the sort of thing I needed to break my mundane routine, and get me off the couch. I started training 3 months before the race and was surprised at how much my physical fitness and mental fortitude developed before race time.
My first race I went in without expectations, and by the time I crossed the line I realized this was one of the most exhilarating events I have ever participated in. Since then aspects of Spartan Racing has been ingrained in my everyday routine.
Now I want to share that experience with the world, and provide a place where people can connect and discuss their experiences, aspirations, gather tips, etc.
